1. Fiber and spinning
1. Collection of textile fiber types
D is the abbreviation of DENIER (denier), which is a method of expressing the fineness of chemical fibers. It refers to the weight in grams of a 9000-meter-long silk at a given moisture regain, also called denier. The thicker the yarn. Eg: 75D is thicker than 50D.

S is the abbreviation of British branch, used to express the fineness of pure cotton yarn, referring to the number of 840 yards (1 yard = 0.9144 meters) length of a pound (454 grams) of cotton yarn. That is, there are a few 840 yards, which is just a few, so if S is added, the yarn is thinner. For example: 32S is thinner than 21S.

Textile fibre
★(1) Natural fibre
●plant fiber
○seed fibre (seed fibre): cotton (cotton): mainly includes upland cotton and sea island cotton, which are the main natural fibers.
Kapok (kapok)
○Bast fiber: Flax: The bast fiber of the annual or perennial plant of the flax family in the flax family.
Hemp, green hemp, kenaf
Ramie (China grass): The bark of a perennial plant of the genus Ramie in the Ramie family.
Jute: The bark fiber of an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the genus Jute of the Tianma family.
○Leaf fibre: Sisal (sisal hemp), Abaca (Manila hemp)
○Fruit fibre: coconut fibre
●animal fibre hair: wool: mainly refers to sheep wool, which is a short protein fiber.
Rabbit hair: mainly short protein fiber produced by Angora and domestic rabbits.
Camel hair: The fiber is relatively thick and is mainly used in industrial textiles.
Secretion: tussah silk: wild silk, the filament spit out by silkworms that feed on tussah silk.
Mulberry silk (mulberry silk): Bombyx mori silk, the filament spit out by the silkworm that feeds on mulberry leaves.
●Mineral fiber: asbestos fiber
★(2) man-made fibre
○Inorganic fiber: metal fiber, glass fiber, rock fiber, slag fiber, etc.
(inorganic fiber: metal fiber, stone fiber, glass fiber, slag fiber, Etc.)
○Regenerated fiber: viscose fiber: viscose fibre, vicose rayon, viscose spinning regenerated cellulose fiber.
Cuprammouium fiber: cuprammouium rayon, cellulose fiber regenerated by cuprammou method.
Acetate fibre: acetate fibre, a derivative of cellulose fibre, is a semi-synthetic fibre
Rich and strong fiber: polynosic, also known as "tiger kapok", a variety of viscose fiber.
○Cellulose ester fiber: Diacetate fiber, triacetate fiber
(Cellulose acetate-fiber: two-acetate fiber, three-acetate fiber)
○Man-made protein fiber: casein fiber, corn gluten fiber, soy protein fiber, etc.
(corn protein fiber, pea protein fiber)
★(3) Synthetic fibre OR (chemical fiber)
●Polyester fiber (polymethyl terephthalate): polyester (PET) is represented by T.
(polyethylene terephthalate: polyester)
●Polyamide fiber: Nylon (PA) is denoted. Also called nylon, nylon.
(polyamide, Nylon)
●Polyacrylonitrile fiber: Acrylic fiber (PVN) is represented by A, and it is called "Aulon" abroad.
(polyacrylonitrile,Acrylic)
●Polyolefin fiber: polypropylene fiber (PP)
(Isotactic polypropylene)
●Polyurethane fiber: Spandex (OP)
(polyruethane elastomeric fiber; spandex)
●Polyvinyl acetal fiber: vinylon (PVA) V
(vinylon)
●Polyvinyl chloride: Chlorine (PVC)
(chlorofibre,polyvinyl chloride fibre)
●Other fibers: aramid, polyethylene, etc.
