1. Filament: refers to long, continuous natural silk and chemical fiber. Filament is divided into monofilament and multifilament. Monofilament is a silk spun from a single-hole spinneret or drawn from a single cocoon by a chemical fiber factory. The filaments used in the textile industry are mostly multifilaments, which consist of two or more monofilaments. For example, 150D/96F is composed of 96 monofilaments.

2. Short fiber: refers to short natural fiber and cut chemical fiber. The cut chemical short fibers can be divided into cotton fibers, wool fibers, and medium-long fibers. Generally, the length of cotton-type fibers is 33-38mm, the length of wool-type fibers is above 76mm, and the length of medium-length fibers is 51-66mm. Short fiber is divided into pure spinning yarn and blended yarn. The one with one raw material is called pure spinning, and the one with two or more raw materials is called blended yarn.
